Major Block!

I’m not giving up on my blog, I’m just a little blank on what to write.

My husband, Tim went to Bible study this morning at six in the morning. The men like early morning for shorter times so they can still get to work. Hubby goes to this on Tuesday mornings.

Today, he came home right after seven a.m. He had reported their study consisting of ‘what forgiveness mean’ I am always more concerned with ‘what forgiveness is’ so, I told him in addition to what he learned what my past pastor had taught me about forgiveness and believing.

Forgiveness

The forgiveness of Jesus restores our original relationship with our Father, he doesn’t put our sins aside and just not look at them but, he actually blots them out of existence. He, with the work on the cross, has found the way to restore those that ‘believe’ to the relationship that we had with God before our time here on earth. People fall short of being able in most cases to totally restore favor in our lives with those who have wronged us. We generally ‘forgive’ but never ‘forget’ or we come up with, ‘well I forgive them but, I never want to speak to them.’ I don’t see the ‘forgiveness’ that Jesus has been crucified and died on that cross being anywhere near the forgiveness we are able to bestow on our enemies, family or friends. And, bad way to start a sentence but, I never have seen where ‘forgiving ourselves’ is biblical. As long as we are living in Christ Jesus there is no shame, therefore we live in an umbrella of His forgiveness and protection from our past life when we were flooded in sins. With Jesus sins become something that the Light shines on, with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit comes discernment. We continue to go ‘left’ or ‘right’ depending on what God says through the work of His Spirit. Jesus, our Salvation! Our Redeemer! Our second chance, maybe third, forth… He’s there. even the demons don’t deny our Savior.

I have a paragraph alone for ‘what believing really means.’

In Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen
