Veteran’s Day

Parade, parade, parade!

Yes, That’s what was on the schedule for today, it was wonderful, the people stopped a number of times to thank my husband for his service. Deserving, he accepted with kind, ‘thank you.’

The grand-kids went along, better than staying home, they said. LOL. Kids, someday they will learn but until then I will teach.

Well, this parade wasn’t the same as the one we attended back in Sonora, CA. At that parade I was able to get him into it by piling on the truck of vets who rode through the parade to wave at all the audience. This year, we were across our one-way downtown street where the parade took place, across from a bar, full of veteran’s, sadly. A good number of people from the parade and city officials thanked Tim for his service, His scars are hidden, if they really knew. The strange part of the situation was the bar across the street, the boy’s, men, vets, they were wasted drunk. Like I said sadly. That used to be Tim, but no longer, not for many years, and today I saw two different people from then to now. Myself also. It was like watching a miracle, in fast forward.

Praise Jesus!

Oh yeah! Had the most awesome Sunday in a long time! Two services I was able to attend and then I downloaded a bunch of worship songs, it was an incredible day!
