The title sounded nice, huh? Yeah, well, fun travel doesnt happen to often but today like many is a trip to Seattle, to the VA Hospital on the hill. A two hour drive that I’ve finally gotten used too. I’m actually looking forward to this trip and getting out of the house, I pray all goes well.

The appointment is for my husband. A year ago, last month, he had his third neck surgery, a fusion this time. Where they simply fused all the C-spine to a plate then anchored the plate to the top T-spine, which they broke upon anchoring. Cracked it I am assuming, since after his initial surgery the doctor panicked and was taking him ‘back’ into surgery when my husband woke up from the anesthesia. The doctor promptly pulled this out of his rear, saying my husband was malnourished! Dropped him like a hot potato! Saw him at a two week check up after his surgery then not a word since then. Mind you, you have to have many tests before a surgery as this was, and bone density was one of them.

This has my blood racing and I need to ready myself for his appointment and the travel. I will be sure to come back to this before I go on.
